Day 24 Mon 25 September Koh Lanta, Thailand - Singapore

Reluctantly left Layana resort on Koh Lanta, minibus to airport, a 2 hour journey involving 2 ferries. On arrival at the airport there was a little man from the resort to take the bags, queue up and check in for you whilst we went and had a coffee, all part of the service. This resort had lots of nice extra touches like that, from free wireless internet everywhere and a well stocked DVD library to a different selection of juices and ways of folding table napkins every morning. They also would unbidden bring glasses of iced water and pieces of fruit to you when you were lounging round the pool, offer you complementary champagne with breakfast on Sunday and provide a little entre before each dinner none of which were charged for. For A$140/night it was pretty good, although as you can see from the photos it was the wet season.
