Day 7 Friday 8 September 2006 Darwin

Decided to move from Cullen Bay to Saville apartments on the Esplanade. Much better (and cheaper) and their internet worked properly. Took the 11am ferry from Cullen Bay to Mandorah on the Cox Peninsula on the western side of Darwin Harbour. Mandorah‘s main attraction apart from fishing is a run down pub on the beach which serves a cold beer and half decent barra burgers.
On our return, checked into the Saville and spend the day catching up on emails. Jane cooked supper and we went to the outdoor Deckchair Cinema where we saw the Indian film, ‘Water’ about the fate of widows pre independence.
