Day 114 Saturday 23 December, Delhi

We spend the morning deciding what needs to go back to Sydney and what should stay in the car. When its all packed we drive off in the filthy car (its amazing or perhaps not how dusty the car is after sitting for 2 days in delhi). We have arranged to leave the car with Vincent and Sophie who live out to the south west while we return to Aus. Vincent runs the 1400 strong JLL operation in India. The drive takes us past the Baha’i Lotus Temple which looks a bit like the Sydney opera house, set in beautiful gardens and Qutb Minar complex. The Qutb Minar is an impressive 73 m sandstone and marble tower built in 1193 to mark the arrival of the Muslim sultans by Qutbyddub Aibak and along with the surrounding ruins is of course a world heritage monument.

We then drive west to find Vincent and Sophie’s place in a rural enclave and are greeted by their collection of great danes and vintage motorbikes. After a short visit we are driven to Connaught Circle where I3 has a final fitting for his suite, arriving 2 mins after the shop has closed but force our way in. Then after dinner at Zen with an Indian version of Chinese and coffees at Barista we return to the hotel.
