Day 139 Saturday 3 February 2007 Islamabad, Pakistan

We spend the morning packing and sorting out what we are taking and whats being left in the car whilst its being serviced before heading to BMW in downtown Islamabad for it to be serviced. We get to the showroom but discover the service centre is miles away. However the guys at BMW couldn’t be more helpful ( we can tell we’re not in India anymore) and take us to the service place where we are to leave the car for a week. Then they drop us back in the centre (although as a planned capital like Canberra and Chandigarh it has no centre) where we eat, shop and blog. In the evening we have a delicious meal of slow roasted lamb and see our first rain since November.
