Day 140 Sunday 4 February 2007 Islamabad, Pakistan to New York, USA

An 4am start to the airport for the flight to New York, chaotic as ever and despite thinking we’d never get to the check-in let alone make the plane, we are in plenty of time. The plane's late so we just make the connection on London, walking straight off one, thru security and on to the next. In New York its -8degC but clear when we arrive at sunset and catch a cab to the Waldorf Astoria (you didn’t think we’d be roughing it did you?).
